Deleting Cevan-held data does not delete a YouTube video. The steps below have different effects.
1. Stop Cevan’s connection
In the Cevan application, open Settings → Social accounts, find the YouTube account and disconnect it. When the operation completes, Cevan disables that local connection and removes its saved authorization credentials.
This does not remove the Google-side authorization grant, all historical publishing records or videos already on YouTube. Previously accepted requests may still finish on the platform. Check their existing receipt; do not treat a disconnect as confirmation of cancellation. For a Gmail connection, use its separate mailbox settings.
2. Revoke the Google grant
Open Google Account permissions or Google third-party connections. Select Cevan or the relevant application and remove its access. Sign-in, Gmail and YouTube may use separate grants; revoke each connection you want to stop.
Google revocation invalidates access under that grant. It does not itself erase Cevan’s saved records or remove YouTube videos. Cevan cannot continue an authorized API action with an invalid grant; a fresh connection requires fresh authorization.
3. Request deletion of Cevan-held data
Send your request to help@cevanlabs.cn. State the scope of deletion so we can locate the correct account and records.
- Your Cevan account email and, where relevant, the company workspace you are authorized to manage.
- The relevant YouTube channel ID or name, if the request concerns a channel connection.
- The data categories: Google connection data, API metadata/receipts, selected creative assets, task history or the whole account.
- Whether you have already disconnected the account or removed the Google grant.
Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, identity documents or video files in the initial email. We request only proportionate identity and authority evidence when necessary. A request about a shared company workspace must be made by someone authorized for those records.
YouTube API rules require stored user-related API data to be deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days after a deletion request or deletion of the related application account. The platform deadline is separate from general legal rights-response deadlines. It is not an automatic full-history purge performed by the disconnect button. We explain any applicable legal retention and backup handling in the response.
The website’s email link opens your own email client. A request is not sent until you send the email. This static website has no deletion submission endpoint or automatic server-side deletion function.
4. Remove a video from YouTube
Open YouTube Studio and manage or delete the video in the relevant channel. Cevan’s current publishing workflow does not provide a YouTube video-deletion feature.
Deleting local assets, Cevan-held records or an authorization grant does not delete content held by Google/YouTube. Other platforms likewise need their own content-management controls.
5. Clear data on a device
If you want to remove local application drafts or preferences, sign out and clear the Cevan application’s site data in your browser. Export any results you need first. Clearing local storage does not remove server-held assets or platform content. The public static website itself does not create browser-storage records.
